Unicorn Hunt was a job board for tech jobs, built for 3beards, the London company behind tech community events such as Silicon Drinkabout and Digital Sizzle. It replaced the WordPress job board 3beards had run since February 2013 and launched in January 2015.
The board was for companies looking for good people and people looking for the right company, without the flood of recruiter listings, and it charged on a pay-what-you-want basis. I built it with 3beards.
The name came from a joke that finding a great job, or a great person, is like hunting for a unicorn. By 2019 the board was run by Tiny Boards alongside Designer News and We Work Remotely.
