There was a chance to play with a new ultra-lightweight $100 laptop.
It was linux-based and seemed to function just as you’d expect… of course the screen wasn’t great and it was a bit flimsy, but this could be hugely influential and help bridge the ‘digital divide’. The potential cultural impact this might have in developing countries could be very significant.
