Mixilist

A Rewired State Social TV hack. A Youtube party app, where you put this app on your internet enabled TV, and controlled a playlist of video and music using many mobile devices. It also synced up people who were watching together via the web. Stef built it with Emily at a Rewired State event, working loosely coupled: "I was 'building' it, but we were having conversations together, making decisions, thinking about what it should be and why, and Emily was able to produce a brand, graphics and so on, and we had a very light way of working together - she passed me a USB stick or sent an email occasionally!"

The mixilist.com domain later carried a different product under the same name, a list app. Lists had items and bookmarks and could be subscribed to, bookmarked and shared. Its subscribe options read: "Updates only — you will be notified of any items in this list when they are modified, added, or removed" or "Random daily — each day you will be notified of one item, selected at random, from this list. This may be useful if the list contains items that you want to be periodically reminded of (e.g. inspirational quotes, ideas for movies to watch, etc.)". By 2025 its signup page read: "We are currently in the middle of some important maintenance or development, so at this time new account creation has been temporarily disabled."
