The ICE List

The ICE List was a members' network for technology founders and investors, founded in 2009 and run by volunteers as a not-for-profit company, ICE List Ltd. ICE stood for the International Conclave of Entrepreneurs. Members met through small peer-support groups called ICE Cubes, monthly chapter events, annual trips abroad and an email group, also called the ICE List, for sharing knowledge.

Stef was the network's volunteer Tech Lead and built its public website, theicelist.com, which was live by mid-2019. It was a Gatsby site with its content managed in Prismic, with pages on becoming a member and becoming a sponsor, a gallery of member companies and the volunteer team list. It described ICE to prospective members as “the tech family you’ve waited for” and put the membership at more than 300 entrepreneurs, investors and founders.

The organisation renamed itself The ICE Network in October 2023 and is now at theice.network, where it describes itself as a community of founders, investors and leaders, with over 470 members across 20 countries.
