Thomas Köner — Nunatak Teimo Permafrost (TYPE072, deluxe CD edition)
- When
- Aug 2010
This is a release on Type Records, the label I co-founded with John Xela. John was responsible for its musical output; I contributed in the first few years on design and running the label. The catalogue is archived here for posterity.
Boomkat, which stocked the label, still lists this record, filed under Dark Ambient / Drone / Metal.
German sound-sculptor Thomas Köner always imagined his first three albums 'Nunatak', 'Teimo' and 'Permafrost' as a single unit — a tryptich, if you will. This deluxe CD edition collects the three records and packages them together for the first time ever.
Made at Type.
Earlier in the catalogue: Thomas Köner — Permafrost TYPE071. Later in the catalogue: Jefre Cantu-Ledesma — Love Is A Stream TYPE075.
