A platform to solve the data and workflow problems faced by CFOs of multi-entity businesses.
Translucent took a data warehouse-first approach: it ingested data from multiple accounting software vendors and transformed it into a single, clean schema, with a suite of web applications for reasoning about the business at group level. I built the first prototype, led on the overall architecture and grew the early engineering team, helping the company to secure significant seed investment and launch to market.
