Eigg's 'geek in residence', on the Inner Hebridean island — an artist in residence programme for technologists and designers.

- Role
- Geek in residence
Up until the end of 2012 I was the Inner Hebridean island of Eigg's 'geek in residence'. It was an artist in residence programme for technologists and designers, partnered up with cultural organisations by Sync, organisers of Culture Hack Scotland. I designed, programmed, made and did things in collaboration with Eigg Box, a new cultural and creative centre that was proposed for the island — 'in residence' at a place that didn't yet exist. The hope was that being involved would help turn it into a reality, as well as making some very interesting and useful things.
