A one-day hack that got around Twitter only allowing white-listed URLs in direct messages

In their wisdom Twitter had decided to only allow white-listed URLs in direct messages. Kind of frustrating if you’re building products like Attending on their platform, only to find your URLs banned. This was a one-day hack that got around it.
