If you'd like to work with me in some way, here are some of the things that I'd be interested in taking on:
Prototypes. If you've got an idea and you want to explore how it might work by getting a working prototype built, that's my specialism.
Technical due diligence. I've been working with an early stage VC recently and I've done a handful of short pieces of DD for them and find it fascinating. Feedback from the teams is that it's useful for them too.
Tech strategy / advisory. I enjoy helping early stage companies talk through their plans. It's surprising how many problems you can head off by talking them through early. Maybe you're non-technical and need to sanity check what your developers are recommending, or make sure you're building the right thing in the right way.
Prototyping workshops. I run a series of workshops about the process I've developed around hacks and prototyping. My recent talk at FuturEverything went into some of this. I'm interested in how startups and larger companies could apply some of my methods to investigate new directions in a low risk way.
Speaking. I'm doing a fair bit of speaking. You might want me to come and speak about my process and experience at an event you're organising.
Community things. I do a fair bit of non-profit stuff too. Right now the two big things are kicking off Distribute the Future / The Awesome Box and being chair of governors at my local school. I'm happy to do short things like MCing a meetup, speaking on a panel of an evening, the occasional coffee to give feedback and share thoughts, but larger pro bono community things might be a bit tricky! Happy to chat of course...
